Our foundation was established with a bill issued by 74 founding members on 22.05.1975 and this establishment was registered by the Ankara 4th Civil Court of First Instance on 28.05.1975.

It continues its activities with the Provisional Article 15 of the law on making changes in some articles of the Law on Police Organization numbered 3201 and adding temporary articles to this law, published in the Official Gazette dated 03.04.1981 and numbered 17299.
With the Law No. 5072 on the Relations of Associations and Foundations with Public Institutions and Organizations enacted on 22.01.2004, the Turkish Police Foundation Foundation was not evaluated within the scope of Foundations Established by Law by the General Directorate of Foundations; This case was filed and this case was concluded in our favor with the finalized decision of the 10th Administrative Court of the Council of State, dated 31.03.2010 and numbered Act No 2009/11363 and Decision No 2010/2544. Thus, the Foundation for Strengthening the Turkish Police Department gained the Status of Foundation Established by Law.
Tax exemption has been granted to our foundation with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 25.01.1980 and numbered 8/218, published in the Official Gazette dated 18.02.1980 and numbered 16904.
The purpose of the Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation is to provide the Turkish Nation with the material and moral support of the Turkish Nation by performing all kinds of services that can be provided by the Foundation in terms of strengthening the Turkish Police Organization and raising the Organization to the highest level in all aspects.

In various ways, cash donations transferred to our Foundation or to our Foundation Provincial Branches currently operating in 75 provinces are accepted at the Foundation Headquarters or Foundation Provincial Branches (guidance will be made by the relevant Police Directorates) with donation receipts with serial numbers prepared by the General Directorate of Foundations.

All of the conditional or unconditional donations made to our foundation are delivered to the families of our martyred police officers.

- The Foundation accepts donations of goods with the decision of the Headquarters and Branch Board of Directors.
Real estate (building, flat, land, etc.) donations, in accordance with Article 75 of our Foundation Regulation, "Item 75- The Foundation accepts donations of property with the decision of the Headquarters and Branch Board of Directors.
a) Immovable Property Donations:
1) A preliminary review is made before donation is accepted.
2) If necessary, the status of the immovable property is examined by a sub-commission attended by at least two members of the Board of Directors.
(3) Care is taken to ensure that the donation is free of dispute and disorder. Disputed property donations are not accepted.
(4) If the donated property is in provincial establishments, the General Directorate of the Foundation is informed about the open address of the donor and the condition of the property, and the response will be taken. 1- Our citizen who wants to donate immovable property should apply to the Police Department of the province where he / she is located by writing a petition stating that he / she will make a donation to the Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation. A copy of the Identity Card, a report to be taken from 2 different Health Institutions and a Title Deed must be attached to the petition.
After the on-site inspection by the Provincial Security Directorate, the Provincial Branch of the Foundation and the Central Executive Board of our Foundation will accept the donation and initiate the registration process. In this process, since the Foundation is tax exempt, no tax or fee is paid by the donor.
2- In donations to be made by issuing a will from the notary, the donor determines the conditions under which he wants the movable and immovable properties to remain in the Foundation. While issuing the will, the report "Mental Angels Are In Place" and two witnesses are required. The notary public notifies the will to the civil registry office with a letter. The donor may inform the Foundation about his will or send a copy of his will to the Foundation. This information and documents are stored in the archive of the Foundation.
- Motor Vehicle Donations:
Motor vehicles whose acceptance is deemed appropriate; Care is taken that they are not younger than three years old, and a report is prepared on the general and technical condition of the vehicle before its acceptance.
- Movable Goods Donations:
In the acceptance of movable goods; Whether it is suitable and suitable for use in the Police Organization is taken into consideration.

Important Announcement About Driver's License Service Charge Collection
Pursuant to the 131st and Provisional Article 22 of the Highway Traffic Law numbered 2918, payments for the Driver's License “Foundation Service Fee”, which must be deposited into the accounts of the Turkish Police Force Foundation, are not received by the Tax Offices. For this reason, the Driver's License "Foundation Service Fee" must be deposited in the "Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation Accounts" stated below.

In accordance with Article 32 of our Foundation Act; Our Foundation is obliged to spend and allocate 80% of its gross revenues during the year for the purposes of the Foundation, that is, to strengthen the Turkish Police Organization and to raise the Organization to the highest level in all aspects. For this reason, our Police Organization provides assistance in all matters by the Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation, in line with their revenues and objectives.
Our Board of Directors works in integrity and solidarity with the Police Organization in fulfilling the Foundation's objectives, determining the aid to be made.
All of the constructions and service and goods purchases made with the aids allocated by our Board of Directors, in line with the decisions of our Board of Directors, by taking into account the Public Procurement Law, by the Procurement Commission of the General Directorate of Security in the Center and by the procurement commissions established by the Provincial Police Directorates and Education and Training Institutions in the provinces. It is carried out in accordance with the terms of the contract made by the contracting authority, with the utmost care in accordance with the Tender Law, and payments are made within the banking system.

In accordance with the paragraph (f) of Article 3 of the Act, the Foundation provides assistance within the following procedures and principles in order to increase morale and strength to the members of the Police Organization.
a) The members of the Police Organization and the guardians of the bazaar and the neighborhood, in case of a martyr within the scope of the Anti-Terror Law, and also the General Directorate of the Retirement Fund, who lost their lives for any reason other than their duty and did not complete their service periods, were not paid by the General Directorate of the Retirement Fund; Unrequited death benefit is given to the spouses and children of the Neighborhood Guards and to the parents of those who are not married.
b) The health expenses of the members of the General Directorate of Security and their spouses and children that cannot be covered by the State and cannot be provided with their pensions and the necessary aid for the tools, equipment and materials required by the decision of the Hospital Health Board are covered by our Foundation.
In addition, for the personnel who were unable to work while on duty and retired due to this reason: The family of the personnel who are found to have financial difficulties as a result of the investigation, the amount to be determined by the Foundation Central Board of Directors and the hospital expenses that are not covered by the Pension Fund Law but required by a doctor's report, prosthesis, wheelchair etc. Necessary assistance is provided for expenses that he cannot afford.
As a result of the investigation to be made, assistance is provided to the personnel who suffered great damage due to disasters such as fire, flood or earthquake, in the amount determined by the Foundation Central Board of Directors.
c) Members of the Police Department, bazaar and neighborhood guards and retired ones who continue their duties and continue to special education and rehabilitation centers with the reports given by the Health Boards from their children with visual, orthopedic, hearing, language-speech, voice disorders, mental and mental disabilities. Education expenses of those who are deemed appropriate are covered from this appropriation by putting the amount determined in the Central Government Budget Implementation Communiqué to the budget of the Ministry of Education. With the decisions taken by our Central Board of Directors every year; It has been decided that the children of our police officers mentioned above will be subjected to accelerated training in special education schools and special education and rehabilitation centers, and the additional education expenses, which will not exceed the amount paid by the State, will be paid in return for consumable documents.

Aid for children with visual, orthopedic, hearing, language-speech, voice impairment, mental and mental disabilities of members of the Police Department, bazaar and neighborhood guards and retired from them can be made in accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors, which is renewed every year. Our Police Officer can apply to the Social Services Branch Directorate of the Police Department to get help from our Foundation with the following documents.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS;
1- The petition of our police officer on assistance,
2-A photocopy of the RAM report of the child receiving special education,
3- The letter that the training institution will provide for the child of our Police Officer,
Treatment - for drug and material assistance and assistance to needy personnel;
1- The aid subject must be in accordance with our Act.
2- Applications are made through the Social Services Department.
3- Social Services Department sends us the letter of request for help from the member.
4- Requested assistance; If it is related to the health status of the member or family member, a report indicating the health status, A hospital report is requested as "must use" for medicine, medical equipment or medical equipment.
5- Fire brigade report in case of damage from fire,
6- If the flood suffered damage, a cover letter is requested from the district governorship to confirm the incident.
7- It is determined whether or how much of the requested aid is covered by the institution. (SGK)
8- Whether the amount of help requested can be covered by the salary of the member is asked to the unit where he works.
9- After all documents are completed, assistance is discussed in the board of directors.
